Aviva Weiner, “Art by Aviva Weiner, Words by E.E Cummings, vintage collage on postcard, 2020.
This piece was one of the first works we received. The postcard was created with multiple layers of vintage stamps from all over the world, a great acknowledgement of the postal service as well as the history of mail art. Witten on the art work is the poem by E.E. Cummings, Seeker of Truth, the perfect poem for these.

This was one of the first artworks we received for the exhibition/project. The title “Piggy Bank: Saving for the Pandemic” says it all! Intricate stitched designs transform the the Pre-Colombian image of a pig vessel. The postcard highlights the importance and beauty of art from ancient times to the artist, and the stitching gives true dimension to the photograph. The reverse side of the post card has a beautiful stitching design as well.
